Welcome to Studio 46, an atelier and private gallery founded in 1974 by Catalan master engraver and printmaker Joan Barbarà. Located in the Gràcia district, it is a cornerstone of Barcelona’s artistic heritage and one of the best-kept secrets in the city. Our space has hosted over 300 artists, including masters such as Joan Miró, Antoni Tapies, Salvador Dali, and Richard Hamilton, and contemporary talents like Lorenzo Quinn, Juliana Plexxo, Om Barbara, JJ Walker, Ruben Landini, Nura Saker, Nuria Guinovart and Joan Bofill. • I’ll welcome you with drinks and share an overview of Studio 46 and its significance and fascinating history, starting with the legacy of Barbarà and his collaborations with many iconic 20th-century artists. • We’ll explore the workshop, where you’ll learn about various engraving techniques and see some of the incredible works created in this historic space. • Finally, we’ll visit the private gallery, still a working studio for many contemporary artists, who continue to reinterpret and innovate engraving and mixed media in exciting ways. To make this experience even more memorable, you’ll leave with an original engraving from one of the artists at the Atelier—a unique memento of your journey into Barcelona’s vibrant art scene.

Capture the beauty of Barcelona’s skyline and Montjuïc Hill with an immersive watercolour experience. Explore the iconic botanical gardens while learning techniques on pre-drawn watercolor postcards to create a unique keepsake from your trip. Stage 1: Meeting Point We’ll meet outside Paral·lel Station, at the café-bar Enrique Tomás. Please be on time—funiculars leave every 15 minutes, and we’ll wait up to 10 minutes. If you're late, don’t worry! We’ll be in touch so you can catch up with us later. Stage 2: Ascend in the Funicular We’ll take the funicular (ticket included!) to Montjuïc and enjoy a 10-12 minute walk to the gardens, with stunning views of Barcelona’s skyline. If time allows, we’ll stop by the Olympic Pool. Stage 3: Watercolor Warm-Up & Cactus Garden You’ll receive your watercolor kit and postcards for a quick warm-up session. Then, we’ll explore the Jardins de Mossèn Costa i Llobera, where you’ll create a watercolor postcard inspired by the unique plant life. Stage 4: Skyline Painting & Wrap-Up We’ll head to the Miramar Hotel, where you can capture Barcelona’s skyline. If time permits, we’ll paint together. Stage 5: After Drink or Return - Enjoy a drink at the Miramar terrace café. - Head back the way we came. - Take the cable car to Barceloneta (€12) for tapas! - Walk with me back to Paral·lel Station.

Together, we’ll explore the El Born neighborhood, which blends medieval charm with contemporary street art. • We’ll start by wandering through El Born, following the evolution of street art through iconic graffiti. Each wall tells the story of this neighborhood’s rich history and rebellious spirit. • Next, I’ll take you to see large-scale murals and recent installations that have transformed public spaces into vibrant art canvases. • Finally, I’ll share some of my own contributions to the neighborhood. We’ll visit a few of my installations and tour my studio in the Artquemy Gallery, where you’ll see works in progress. You’ll connect to Barcelona’s creative pulse in a new way, and gain a better understanding of how art and artists give this city so much life.

Tim Bikes highlights bike tour Madrid

Our tour is ideal for everyone who wants to get to know Madrid in a short time but in a relaxed way. Conducted in English. Private tours in English, Dutch, Spanish, French if available and Portuguese if available. In about 3 hours and 11 km biking, you will more or less see and hear everything of the old center while riding a very comfortable bicycle. The “must see” places as well as the hidden corners away from the typical touristic paths. We will ride mainly on cycling paths, pedestrian zones and parks. Of course there will be various stops to take pictures. When we stop, we will tell you about the stories behind what you see and tell our personal experiences of our time in Madrid. After the tour you have an idea which places you want to visit in your own time and in which restaurants and tapas bars you want to have your meal. You are inspired for the rest of your time in Madrid. We have children seats for 0-20 kg. Ask for availability. The total tour is about 3 hours. This tour requires experience with biking in the city. We have availability of electric bikes (only for adults, minimum length 1,55 m), additional costs € 10.

Nuestra inmersión en la cultura toledana empezara con una caminata a través de los miradores con las mejores panorámicas de la ciudad. caminaremos por sus mágicas calles, pasearemos maravillados por su impresionante arquitectura y ascenderemos hasta la mayor fortaleza de la ciudad. Allí haremos una pausa para que puedas comer tranquilo y sin prisas, ya que te aseguramos que en nuestra aventura la idea es que puedas disfrutar plenamente. Continuaremos nuestro recorrido hacia el segundo destino, que será la ciudad de Segovia, patrimonio de la humanidad por la UNESCO. Al llegar conoceremos el acueducto romano mejor preservado del mundo, subiremos hasta su parte mas alta e iremos a explorar una de las fortalezas medievales mas importantes de España, el majestuoso Alcázar. Antes de emprender nuestro regreso pasearemos por la calle Real , famosa por sus magnificas tiendas donde podremos comprar un lindo recuerdo.

Cuero Artesano en el Madrid Castizo

Esta experiencia esta pensada para aquellos que quieran pasar un rato agradable en un autentico taller de Cuero Artesano Español. A los asistentes les enseñare algunas de las herramientas que se usan para trabajar el cuero, muchas de las cuales son las mismas que se usaban en épocas medievales, y también la variedad de pieles que existen. Cada participante tendrá la oportunidad de realizar con sus propias manos una pieza artesanal usando cuero Español de primera calidad. Se podrá elegir entre varias piezas, todas ellas sencillas de realizar, pero con un diseño bonito y original; Un lindo bolso de mano, un cinturón a medida, una cartera, dos diferentes monederos o pulseras trenzadas. Comunicándolo previamente al profesor esta la opción de realizar una pieza distintas a estas, que diseñaremos en el acto.... quizás algo que siempre se quiso hacer, un bolso, una riñonera, una funda de móvil.... Cada pieza sera única ya que cada participante podrá decorar su trabajo a su gusto, usando una técnica llamada Repujado, de amplia tradición en España, que introdujeron los Árabes hace cientos de años. Cada uno podrá hasta plasmar sus iniciales sobre su obra!! No seremos muchos en el taller para que tengamos la oportunidad de conocernos y no andar con prisas. Hablo Ingles perfectamente así que daré las explicaciones tanto en Español como en Ingles. Otros aspectos destacables Al principio de la experiencia habrá que cortar las piezas de cuero con una herramienta cortante afilada. Se les dará la opción a los participantes de cortarlo ellos mismos o que lo corte el profesor.

We'll start at the Plaza Mayor and then make our way through the old village, stopping at a local market to enjoy some entrees and drinks. Then continue our historical journey through the most ancient and interesting parts of the old town, to finally end before the majestic Royal Palace. After putting aside the history we’ll finish the tour at a really classic local restaurant where you'll get to taste different, mouth-watering food and local drinks. Of course, aside from the food goodies, we will get an opportunity to chill, know each other better and share some laughs. Come and see Madrid through my eyes, I want to make you feel as if you're walking through the city with a bunch of friends but one of them happens to know a lot about it and is more than willing to share the knowledge with you!
