Is in the Guiness Book of Records as the worlds steepest street. You can drive up it and turn around at the top. I found this a little scarey, but Im afraid of heights etc!!

The Dunedin Botanical Gardens are well established. Its a lovely place to go for a walk and has a cafe'. Its opposite Gardens Supermarket and right at the top of the Botanical Gardens is an aviary.

Tunnel Beach is quite a steep walk down to a man made cove. The cove was carved out years ago by hand by the owner of the now derelict Cargils Castle for his daughter, as a private beach.

Its a lovely drive and you can do the whole round trip back to here. They have a cafe and tours of the ecosanctuary that has been established to preserve our native birds and plants.

Its the gateway to Otago harbour. It was also the scene of NZs biggest massacre back in 1990. Theres a movie about it called "Out of the Blue" 13 people including police officer were shot dead.

Aramoana is a small coastal settlement with beautiful beaches. You can view blue penguins and yellow eyed penguins for free right on dusk, as they come in for the night to rest.

Just past a 435 Leith Valley Road is a walking track on the left that leads to a glow worm cave (7min) Malvern St becomes L.V.Road. 20 min up the same track is also a waterfall, cool, moss.
