Lovely old town set on a hill top. The little streets with tourist shops are quite fun. There's always a little exhibition happening in Penne and the small streets give it it's character. There always a restaurant/bar open to have a drink or something to eat.

On Tuesdays in summer outdoor eating and drinking on the big square next to the church. All local producers sell their food and drinks for very good prices. Every week different live music. Bring your own crockery and cutlery if you don't want to cut your steak with a plastic knife and if you prefer your chilled rosé from a wine glass instead of a plastic cup.
