A nice walk near our villa. A 2km loop walk in the forest. Lovely. Even more fun is the Redwoods Tree Top walk by day or night. It's great at night with its lighting closing at 11 pm.

Beautiful hot pools. Hidden away from the masses! Basically, directly opposite the Wai O Tapu Geothermal Valley. These are lovely pools with a cafe onsite. Reasonably priced too.
