One of my favorite places !
An actual roman cuisine experience. Don't expect anything fancy, this is proper oldschool cuisine. Inexpensive - simple - authentic - a true must.
It will probably require a bit for waiting in the queue to get a table, but believe me it's worth it.
In order to avoid the long lines to get in, get there by 12:15 pm or before 8:p.m.
If you are lucky to get an outdoor table with nice whether, you can be very happy; the square it is very cute.

At the end of the sixteenth century the Villa was purchased by Cardinal Alessandro Farnese from whom it takes its name “Farnesina” to distinguish it from Palazzo Farnese (today France Embassy) on the other side of the Tiber.
