A 10 minute walk from here, visit the iconic Royal Crescent, designed by John Wood the Younger and built between 1767 and 1775. A sweeping crescent of 30 Grade I Listed terrace houses is one of the greatest examples of Georgian architecture anywhere in the UK. The museum at Number 1 provides a great insight on how the Georgians lived 250 years ago.
