A great place for dinner & drinks. The concept is build on smaller dishes to share. Super cool atmosphere and there's an outdoor terrace with ping a pong table. One of my all time favorite places!

Best "Smørrebrød" in the whole world! Gourmet and delicious. The menu changes with the seasons. I would recommend the take away deli and to bring it with you, to enjoy at a nearby park.

You can use their sauna and take a dip in the canal in front of the restaurant, which is located at the end of a jetty and surrounded by cute house boats. Or just enjoy the canal view while sipping you morning coffee og having dinner.

This little local place opened up recently and have become an excellent spot in my neighborhood and my all-time favourite go-to spot. The atmosphere is laidback and cozy and service is great. For breakfast the avotoast with an egg on the side is amazing and their coffee and locally produced pastry is fabulous. There are a light lunch menu and evening menu too and they specialize in natural wines, so it also a wine bar spot to meet for a glass after work.

Try the cinnamon swirl roll "Kanelsnurre". If you're lucky they have them freshly baked in the morning or afternoon so the are warm when you buy. Meyers have several spots, but this one is closest to my apartment.

I have previously worked as an operations manager for GRØD, which translate to "porridge". And it's a must try!! They offer the best oat porridge (in my opinion :-)) with all sorts of toppings for breakfast or overnight chia pudding and acaí bowls too. There are several vegan options as well. Lunch and dinner menu includes "spoon-food" with inspiration from all over the world. Like Indian Daal, Asian Congee, Italian risotto and nordic inspired barley-otto.
I recommend you to try the locations in Vesterbro, Nørrebro, Østerbro or Frederiksberg. Torvehallerne only have a tiny menu compared to the others and the vibe is not so cosy.

"The Palmhouse" at the Botanical Gardens is so beautiful and more than a 100 years old. I love to come here on rainy days or when Copenhagen is super cold. I come here to take beautiful pictures, smell the plants and to feel the tropical heat.

A bit far, but f you need to get out of town its so unique and incredible. It holds a lot of avantgarde exhibitions and there is a gift shop with a lot of Danish Design classics. One of my favourite museums by far!

One of my favorite streets in Vesterbro. The end towards the central station is not the best but after Gasværksvej and towards Enghave vej is great, also the small side streets on both sides are nice.

Rent a bike - it's the best way to explore the city!
BUT! Be SUPER CAREFUL when you ride the bikelanes (especially in rush hour). You have to know the "traffic rules" of biking.
Here are 2 important rules:
1. Always look over your left shoulder if you want to pass another bike. The bike lanes usually have a slower lane to the right and a faster lane to the left. So it's a bit similar to driving a car on the highway.
2. Always take your right arm out when you want to make a right turn and always look back over your should to check if someone is behind you. Do the same when to want to turn left.

It is a great tool to get to know the public transportation system. Like if you want to go fra A-B you simple type it into the app and it will tell you which bus, train, metro you should use and it arrives and departs. It's easy and simple! :D

Use credit card more than cash!
Everywhere in Copenhagen you can pay with your Visa/Mastercard and sometimes shops, restaurants, taxis etc. prefer card over cash. We simple don't have a culture for the use of cash anymore. So don't bother withdrawing a lot of money from ATM's.
