About a 10-15 minutes drive. Best indian food in town. Looks deceiving from the outside but you will be pleasantly surprised by the inside and the food is AMAZING.

One of our 2 favourite take out places within walking distance. Super authentic! They deliver after 4:30. Dave loves the thai basil lunch combo (available all day) and I usually take Pad Thai, YUMI. The other one is Curry Point Indian right next to Thai Chilli!

Parks & Nature
We are nature lovers & here are out favourite spots in a 5-15 minute radius around the house.
We love going to Pipers for a walk and to enjoy the ocean. Lots of wildlife there. Take a little snack and drink if the weather is nice. If you walk down the path you see on the right rocks and a steep trail leading up a little cliff. Up on top is a bench with amazing views over to the mainland mountains!

If you walk down the path you see on the right rocks and a steep trail leading up a little cliff. Up on top is a bench with amazing views over to the mainland mountains!
This is a 3-6 hr adventure. You take a little ferry from downtown to the island and there a 2-3 hrs walk through untouched vegetation awaits you. Bring some snacks, food and drinks are only available in high season on the little island.

In summer this is an awesome place for swimming and I recommend the 5-7km walk around the lake at any time of the year. Its so close to town but it feels like you are in the deepest forest. Tip: for swimming take the trail towards the left around the lake then take the first little trail to the right, that brings you too a sweet spot by the rocks (you can jump off if you like :).

10 minutes walk to the trailhead. Exit our property via the back left on to Adby road. Top of the road take a right follow the walking path leading you to Rock City road there take a left and walk along for 10ish minutes, the trail head will be on your left.
