Pihlajasaari is an island located just 15 minutes by boat from the mainland, accessible from both Merisatama and Ruoholahti (€6/ €3,50). It’s a popular getaway from busy city life for many locals. There's a beach on the island as well as beautiful rocks to sunbath or have a picnic.
