A fun hippy-styled summer place to eat pizza and drink beer under a high tent full of hilarious art and great people watching. Worth going if you plan to bike (or rent a moped) to explore the historical island, swim at the parks on the north end, go sailing in or out of the marina... Bayfield is full of BnBs, galleries, tourist events, and apple orchards, not to mention the nearby Big Top Chautauqua to the south.

Free museum with excellent exhibits, movies and views of the canal that announces information on every large ship that comes through next to the building. On the same walk as you would take to the Canal Park Lighthouse and the Lift Bridge. Can't recommend it enough.
