My favourite cozy Italian, where the food actually tastes Italian! The melanzane is a must, the homemade fettucine is delicious and the pannacotta a delight. I love it and go again and again since the service is great as well.

Most of the fish restaurants around Bosphorus are overpriced vs the food & beverage quality. Locals tend to pay more for the view & trends. Revma is one of the very few exceptions where you’ll find good food, good atmosphere together with the good view, and really great service at the reasonable prices.

I visit Celtic almost every day for the friendly service and the reasonable prices. This is almost the only nice bar on the Main Street where you'll find good crowd. Weekends could be an exception due to the over crowd and lost waiters !
Oh, btw sports on the TV sets has been prioritized so you won't miss the game when it is on.

It reopened in late 2011 after a four-year renovation and hosts a sema (whirling dervish) ceremony every Sunday at 17.00 that is open to visitors.

Atatürk Cultural Center (AKM), one of the central landmarks of Istanbul, is finally reopened after 13 years, 4 months, and 28 days. will mainly serve as an opera house, but the center will also have venues ranging from cinema and theater to exhibition halls, cafes and restaurants. Located in the Taksim square of the city, AKM was once the symbol of modern Turkey. Since its closure in 2008, the building has remained empty and has became a political material to create even more polarization between the different wings. Anyway past is past, we had it back. Definitely a must see at least with the contemporary architectural design. Checking tickets online is highly recommended before your visit, as you might come across with globally reputable performers, artists or events.

Galata Port is the cruise ships port at the 10 minutes walking distance. Recently and partially opened this year, in late 2021, after almost 10 years of construction. Although it looks like (actually it is) a big shopping mall, but by the sea, with ‘glittering’ dining choices around. However, it's also hosting (yet) few good bars/restaurants, art galleries, museums such as Mezzaluna for Italian, the populist for local craft beers with street food, Modern Museum that is opening soon and MSGSÜ Museum of painting and sculpture located on the roof of Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University. Get there before the cruises start to dock and close the entire view.
