A short 30 minute drive from our lake house, this beautiful trail features 7 waterfalls. It's a short easy hike for older children. Park in the trail parking lot before the Castle in the Clouds entrance for free parking and enter the trail across from parking or pay to enter the Castle in the Clouds grounds and tour the mansion, go horseback riding or visit the museum. Great food in a fun atmosphere. Everything from sandwiches, salads and pizza to prime rib and shrimp scampi. Also handy to get takeout pizza if you don't want to cook! About a 3 min. drive from our lake house. If you like things a little spicy try the cheesesteak sandwich with deep fried jalapenos on top and the french onion soup is absolutely amazing :)

This is the closest rental car location to our location if you are traveling from the North. However. I would recommend getting a rental car at the Boston, MA or Manchester, NH airports for a better selection.
