The old castle ruins are really interesting & worth a walk through (no cost!). There are also a number of restaurants, coffee shops & a beer garden (for summer visits). The old buildings around the castle ruins are well worth a look also

This is one crazy station entrance! Made to look like a train carriage has sunk into the ground! Terrific unusual photo opportunity. Shops & eateries are close by & it's easy to get to - just hop on the "U Bahn" (Frankfurt's subway system) to the Bockenheimer Warte station.

This is one crazy station entrance! Made to look like a train carriage has sunk into the ground! Terrific unusual photo opportunity. Shops & eateries are close by & it's easy to get to - just hop on the "U Bahn" (Frankfurt's subway system) to the Bockenheimer Warte station.

Situated next door to an Australian themed bar. Great spot if you want to watch some live sport (especially soccer & rugby). Good menu
