Locally owned, this place is truly amazing. They offer many gluten-free options. They're friendly and the food is delish. They also have a complete line of homeopathic and essential oil based holistic products for sale...and they're AMAZING!

This is a cute little shop that has a coffee bar and and ice cream bar as well as a local gift shop. I'm not sure why it's listed as a "sports center" though as it's more touristy than sportsy.

Drinks & Nightlife
This place has some truly amazing pizza. I also love their cob salad with avocado and chicken. They have live music on the weekend in the evening as well. Crossroads gets pretty loud at night on the weekend because of the live bands, so I'd recommend it if that's your scene. They have pool tables and arcade games as well. (It's fun for kids during the lunch hour because of the pool tables and arcade games.)

This is a free park that has biking and hiking trails as well as some fun fishing opportunities! We LOVE this park! Great views and experiences.

Staunton State Park
Staunton State ParkThis State Park is a great place to ride bikes, hike, and fish.
Wellington Lake has a fee, and is off of a very bumpy road, but we've had fun here! The lake has a rock beach and some fun fishing. Some people kayak here too, but I haven't tried it.

This is a great hiking trail...very easy to hike with a reward of seeing and hearing the falls.

We enjoy driving down Lost Park Road during the fall foliage color change. It's a local secret and not teaming with too many people.

This is a private trout fishing pond where you don't have to have a fishing license to participate. It's pretty expensive though!

This is a great hot springs resort for families and couples alike! They have a slide in the Summertime that is popular with the kids...and adults! There are 4 pools and also lots of areas along the river that are hot spring fed. You simply stack the rocks to create your own little hot spring pools to enjoy!
