Our favourite park, combining expansive greenery, great for a run (5km one lap) and just around the corner. The renovated city gas including the Westergasfabrik is a lively neigbourhood to many cultural events and a varied mix of independent shops, old school street markets, shiny new restaurants and traditional brown cafes. A bit further into the park is a natural playground called "Het Woeste Western" which is located at Overbrakepad 3, which is a great adventure for children.

Zandvoort is a bustling beach-town close to Amsterdam, with many beach restaurants and cool bars a happening place on a sunny day in summer, but also great for a refreshing beach walk in the autumn or spring.
