There are different trails that interconnect. It is open to cyclists as well, so be aware while you're hiking, and give them the right of way.

A short walk (up a pretty big hill), will get you to a spot with a great view! Sometimes there is a swing rigged to one of the trees. Its a great spot to watch the sunset!

A large portion of this park was just renovated. It's a great place to go on a warm day to people watch. There are great views at the top. Stop by Bi-Rite Creamery, grab some ice cream, and hang out! From there you can walk to the Mission neighborhood and explore.

Be prepared to see some interesting people, and 'street kids'. They will typically have signs asking money, but don't feel obligated to give them any. You will also often see people playing music.
