This is the closest pub to Coronet Bay (a few minutes drive away) offering decent pub meals at reasonable prices. We have been there when a band has been on which has been a great atmosphere with the locals and kids all wanting to get up and dance.

Ask the Coronet Bay locals and this place can be a tad "hit or miss". We personally have always had great pizzas from there... so if that's what you're craving, and you're keen to support local, don't hesitate to give them a call and order your favourite combinations. I'm also happy to hear your thoughts on whether you personally thought it was good or needed improvement??

What?? You want to enjoy FISH N CHIPS ON THE BEACH?? The Coronet Bay General Store is open daily from 7am to 7pm. Just like an old school milk bar, it is convenient for the basic essentials. They have coffee, drink in or takeaway, and also sell hot food (best fresh fish n chips in the local area!) and dinner packs (check with the store for a menu and hours of food operation). Petrol, alcoholic beverages and Australia Post services are also available at the store. A friendly and handy place to grab some takeaway food and drinks while enjoying the foreshore picnic tables. It is located right at the end of Cutty Sark Rd just before you hit the foreshore!

San Remo IGA is a good little supermarket / liquor store. Just remember on long weekends or if there is an event on Phillip Island it can take a lot longer to get to this supermarket from Coronet Bay due to the build up of traffic. In those circumstances Wonthaggi is a better option for grocery shopping.

This is a great Go Karting circuit with amazing scenery and is a mini replica of the actual Grand Prix race track. Kids can also enjoy the thrill of the race with tandem carts available. There is also a paid tour of the race track available which includes entry to the museum, control tower, pits and the winners podium for those car enthusiasts. And if you feeling hungry there is a cafe with a variety of nice food available. Get there early to beat the queues (especially in the school holidays).

A lovely experience to see the adorable penguins arrive on the beach at dusk to then find there burrows. Although no photos are allowed to be taken at this experience, it is great to get so close to these gorgeous creatures. Make sure you book early in busy holiday periods to avoid disappointment.

A stunning natural formation created by the power of the waves, best viewed at low tide so make sure you search up high and low tide times for the day you plan on visiting. You can go there at any time, but you can only see the cave fully when the tide is lowest. You can climb on top of the rock formation and this makes for stunning photographs. Once you park at the base of the sand dunes there is a short 100 metre walk up and down stairs onto the beach (there is no accessibility for wheelchairs). Once on the beach turn left and walk 300 metres to the caves. There are plenty of rock pools for the kids and plenty of rock hopping for the older kids (dads). The beach is not patrolled and extremely rough. There are areas that you can get your feet wet but it is not a swimming beach.
