Only an hour to central Edinburgh. However, parking in the city is expensive and difficult. Suggest take your car to Kinross Park and Ride a get an express coach from there. Quicker then by car!!

Down the lane from the house is the famous Rumbling Bridge ( 3 bridges on top of each other). Take a walk along the spectacular gorge. Walk along to the Inn at Crook of Devon and get the bus back!

The local area is known as Fossoway. Lots of local walks. Take a wander through the 120 acres of Lendrick Muir. In fact Rumbling Bridge is almost in the centre of Scotland. Edinburgh, Perth, Dundee, Crieff and Stirling are an easy drive

Edinburgh: The best way to get around is by bus.
Suggest you avoid taking your car in. Take the express coach from Kinross. Most folk use the bus in Edinburgh and a day ticket is good value. So much to do once you are there.
