The Colorado Shakespeare Festival occurs June - August in the Mary Rippon Outdoor theater. See a CU Buffs football game in the fall or a basketball game in the winter.

If you're looking for local ballet, theatre, art, and an interesting setting; check out the Dairy Arts Center. I'd recommend seeing any play performed by the Boulder Ensemble Theatre Company. You're probably going to be disappointed if the play is produced by the Upstart Crow, unless you're a very forgiving theatre goer.

The Kitchen Upstairs is one of our favorite places to dine or meet friends for cocktails. This is a nice place for adults to gather free from kids, along with the Kitchen (downstairs), which has high class dining. The Kitchen Next Door is great for families and is located, well, next door to the Kitchen. Try it, you can't go wrong.

Wonderland Lake trails in North boulder are great for hiking, walking, trail running, and mountain biking. No motorized vehicles permitted.
Wonderland Lake a Wildlife Sanctuary is less than .25 from the house. You'll see birdlife, deer, coyotes, muskrats, rabbits, and on very, very rare occasions black bears and mountain lions. You can fish from the banks.
These trails connect 150 miles of trails managed by Open Space & Mountain Parks.
