Humboldt Park is huge! It's about a 15 minute walk or 5 min. bus ride down the street. Great for walking around and exploring. There's a beach located in the park along with swan paddle boats for renting!

This isn't a hiking trail, but it's a 3 mile long path that used to be train tracks that the city converted into a bike/walking/running path. It's beautiful! Great place to walk and see the different neighborhoods on the west side of Chicago. The entrance you can access easiest would be down California Ave right after Armitage avenue.
