Located directly across the road is Bird Hills Nature Park. It doesn't look like anything from the house, but if you cross the road, you will be able to see a small entrance leading to trails through 164 acres of woods down to Huron River. As you follow the trail away from M-14 highway, you really won't realize that you are in the middle of town. Enjoy!

Getting Around
If you are coming from Detroit Airport, and plan to use public transportation, take AirRide bus from McNamara or North terminal to Blake Transit in Ann Arbor. Then take AATA Bus 33 at Blake Transit to our Newport Road location. Bus 33 runs every half hour from 6:30 – 9:30 AM and 3:00 – 6:30 PM on Mon-Fri, or every one hour on weekend and non-peak work days. First bus from Blake Transit is 6:48 AM and last is 8:18 PM on week days. On weekend, first bus from Blake Transit is 8:18 AM and last is 6:18 PM. Go to https://www.theride.org/ for more details.
