The area is peaceful and the people are friendly, not to mention the scenery will take your breath away. Hague has some interesting history too! The "Battle on Snowshoes" was fought in the northeast corner of Hague, where Rogers Slide and Rogers Rock Campsite are located today. Rogers' Rangers was an independent company of militia, lead by the bold Robert Rogers. The Rangers served as the chief scouting unit of British Crown Forces during the French and Indian War.

Named in memory of Amy Wolgin Wiener, Amy's Park is a beautiful property of ponds, marshes, and forests in the uplands of Bolton Landing. It was purchased in February 2012 and its hiking trails were officially opened to the public on July 13, 2012.
