Food scene
Mark does the best grilled fish in the West coast. Coupled with the beach location and chilled vibe, this is my favorite restaurant in the area. The menu is simple but covers all the basics for breakfast lunch and dinner and the food is prepared cleanly and using fresh ingredients that are locally sourced and sometimes personally caught.

Great place for a tasty meal in the centre of town. Not on the beach but has a chilled island feel and a sunny wraparound deck from which to watch people and enjoy a cool beer.

Cycle, drive or sail through this pristine nature reserve, take a picnic to eat on one of its exquisite beaches and marvel at the wild flowers in September. There are many antelope and ostrich families to observe and when the Postberg flower sanctuary is open is is a world class treat for amateur botanists.

Not only does is stock everything you could want to enhance a natural healthy life style, including food and delicious bread but they also carry my own range of Camissa Farm hand crafted soap.....in case anyone’s interested .....! X

Sports
Sisters Shannon and and Megan run a fantastic kite school just down the road from the house. They can take you all the way from total beginner to instructor. Both my girls learnt with them and I can confidently recommend them as highly competent instructors and great people. obsesión is also a fun place to hang out and wind down with like minded souls after a windy day.
