Parks & Nature
This summer hike is so great! You hike up a large bowl and in a short 2.5 miles, get to the top of the flattops where there is a rock bridge. One side is a 750 drop and the other is a 1500. Really enjoyable to take kids or adult kids! Is approx 1.5 hours away also. Close and unique!

Closest local bowling alley, bar and restaurant - quite the scene if you want to get a taste of "seeing and being seen" of our global culture that is Vail.
Hard to book, so get on that early.

Sightseeing
Heading up to Leadville which is 50 min drive from here is a beautiful adventure up into the mtns over small passes. Redcliffe is on the way and a great drive through real quick.
Once in Leadville, the views of the collegiate range are astounding, there are varying drives close by that you can do when the season is right and several restaurants. I recommend the Tennessee Pass Cookhouse that used to be owned by one of my ex's :)))
If it is packed, there is a good Mexican restaurant close to it on the main street.

The restaurant turns into a bar after meals and has some of the more interesting bands playing in the winter season. Not the best space, but the most varied of bands coming in locally. Cheap entry cost.
