One of the small rivers running through our region. You can go out for kayaking and canoeing in some parts along the river, but our favourite in warmer weather is to go out for playing in water with our dogs. Cycle hire in our nearest town Bazas. They stock a wide variety of bicycles including tandem bikes to cater for various needs of individuals as well as families. They deliver their bikes to our gîte, too.

Typical tree lined canal of France. Absolutely beautiful, whichever season you go there. We go for walking with our dogs but it should be really enjoyable for cycling along the canal, too. Or, if you're more adventurous, why don't you rent a boat and go up and down the canal? The map here shows just a spot of the canal, but there are many spots with different characters of their owns.
