If you are a master gardener or know nothing about plants, you will enjoy your time here!
It is free and open to the public daily.

Our area is known for its amazing pottery. In fact, if you drive along Pottery Road you can visit pottery after pottery each with its unique style. If you are lucky you might even catch a potter at work on his or her spinning wheel. This is a fun trip and a great way to spend an afternoon.

Southern Pines - Quaint Downtown
My completely unbiased opinion is that this is the best downtown in America!
Down town is 7 scenic miles from us. At the end of Lakebay Rd. make sure you turn left on Youngs Rd to see the miles of horse farms. You won't be disappointed in the beautiful drive on the way to town!

Aberdeen/Southern Pines Shopping Strip
The main shopping strip for our area is 10 miles south on the edge of Southern Pines and Aberdeen. If you travel south on US 1 and then right on Hwy 15-501, you will find big chain stores, grocery stores, fast food restaurants and popular restaurants.
We usually try to get here on weekdays. Good food, big portions, reasonably priced.
I think it is a hopping bar scene on weekends...
