Lake Ainsworth is one of the largest Teatree lakes in the area. It can be busy during the days but you'll always find a nook to park your picnic rug under the shade and enjoy the refreshing, Coca Cola coloured Teatree water. One of our family favourites is to head there after an early dinner on a hots summer night and cool off as the sunsets over the lake. So peaceful.

There are so many beaches to explore from the Broken head turn off but before the heat of the day sets in take a walk around the headlands towards Whites Beach. The views across the grassy headland give you the sense that everything is good in the world.

An early morning walk from town up to the lighthouse is just one of the best starts to a day. You can walk up the road or take the bush walk alternative. The views across the Bay and Tallows beach are second to none. We highly recommend walking down to either little Wategos or Wategos Beach.
