The east and west buttress guards the channel between the Atlantic ocean and the lagoon. There is a view point at the top of the East head and a restaurant at the bottom where one can view the occasional yacht passing through the heads.

We source our water from local rivers and dams. Due to recent water shortages the water sometimes is yellowish as it passes through our forests and is natural stain with forest foliage. Best to avoid drink the water from our taps.
