The well-known Bavarian beergardens are restaurants famous for their beer and German food. Especially in summer you often sit on a long wooden table next to other beer lovers. Can‘t get more Bavarian than this!

Indeed it is one of the oldest and therefore mentioned in all city guides such as Lonely Planet. Worth going because of the architecture and it’s popularity. For a more authentic experience chose one of the others though!
