There is a dog friendly place on the other side, where you can enjoy the beach with your pooch and there is a regular dog beach meet up in the summertime on most sunday mornings.
The Point Possession Heritage Trail is just nearby it is a 7klm nature walk, see the beautiful wild flowers and the views of different side of Albany is just spectacular
