Neighbourhoods

Richmond is a very beautiful upmarket part of London. It is on the river and is packed with history. It is also a brilliant place to shop. There are many calm water sports available on the river, from paddle boarding to canoeing to sailing. There are many pubs and fine dining establishments, where you can spend a lazy afternoon before taking in a show at the Richmond Theatre. It is also home to Richmond Park, Henry VIII's former hunting ground. These days it's full of runners, cyclists and families as well as deer and other wildlife.

A beautiful, family-friendly neighbourhood which is home to the famous Twickenham Rugby Stadium. It is also very close to St Mary's University and Strawberry Hill House as well as Eel Pie Island. All wonderful places for an historic walk. Hampton Court is a bus ride away. The riverside has plenty of play spaces for children. From Marble Hill Park to Jubilee Gardens, next to Eel Pie Island. The island is an attraction in itself, with a wonderful history relating to The Rolling Stones and The Small Faces. It is a quirky place full of artists houses and is well worth the visit when there is an Open Studio weekend.

World class park

An excellent place to walk. A wonderful place to picnic. A privilege to run or cycle through. This park is home to the Royal Ballet School. It is also the former hunting ground of Henry VIII. There are two cafes and a food truck in a few of the car parks. Please remember, no matter how large the deer herd, you are not allowed to stop, or drive off road.
