If you love to explore outdoors, here are my favorite places for you to visit. Winter, Spring, Summer, or Fall.
Just over the Bay Bridge in to the County, it's a great place to walk, take photos, pick apples, sample treats, take a wagon ride and pumpkin picking.

This is such a beautiful venue right on the water, open air patio, light pub fair, beautiful walk, live music, and great place for photos.

This is a short drive over the Moira river, or a very quick on bike ride along the Water Front Trail.
An amazing park, water park, and pop-up activities like paddle boarding, and bike rentals are available.
Great spot for kids, but a place for adults looking a little outdoor adventure.
Food trucks also on site.
Pirate Ship Park
373 Moira St EThis is a short drive over the Moira river, or a very quick on bike ride along the Water Front Trail.
An amazing park, water park, and pop-up activities like paddle boarding, and bike rentals are available.
Great spot for kids, but a place for adults looking a little outdoor adventure.
Food trucks also on site.
Food scene
Just down the street and a quick walk, this French bistro and bakery has the best Croissant, and espresso in the city. however the croissants are only made on Saturdays, but everything is delicious.
L'Auberge de France
304 Front StTreat yourself to a seafood feast right on the water. Of course its seafood, so its more pricey per person than a regular eatery, but the food, location, and ambiance is excellent in any season.

Sightseeing
Use the park pass to bypass the entry line and explore one of Ontario's natural pleasures. Sandy beach, with plenty of space, but my favorite part are the dunes. Its a quick hike to the dunes and the terrain is hilly, but the sand is soft and gorgeous.

3004 County Road 12Use the park pass to bypass the entry line and explore one of Ontario's natural pleasures. Sandy beach, with plenty of space, but my favorite part are the dunes. Its a quick hike to the dunes and the terrain is hilly, but the sand is soft and gorgeous.
Use the park pass to gain free entry to this natural beauty. The water has a bit more attitude and a more aggressive surf than the Sandbanks, but a great beach to visit.

This is just a short trip up the road, experience the most innate, and stunning home of the 18th century. It is truly a mansion even for today 21st Century standards

This is a lovely garden with short paths, fountain, and the most stunning gardens. Just two blocks up the road, its a great jaunt to stretch your legs, and admire the heritage homes in the area.

Hope on the Trolley Bus for $3. and head to this Brewery. The building was restored from the old Corbyville distillery and sits along the Moira river. Its absolutely incredible.
You can eat and drink safely using the Trolley and it will pick you up and drop you off 3 blocks from your studio.

Free and close. Great ways to experience the local culture.
Enjoy Belleville's Lake shore and Moira river along the Waterfront Trail.

The trail will take you to several parks, eateries, and the back of the downtown core along the Moira River.
