Since 2001 the collection has been housed in the historic armory in Saratoga Springs. For the history trivia buffs this park is where Solomon Northup's life took a dramatic turn and for 12 years he fought for his freedom and to see his home and family once again. He wrote a book about it and it was turned into an award winning movie in 2013.

Wither you decide to get a mineral bath and massage or not you can walk among the buildings in the Saratoga Spa State Park and enjoy the historic site. The trails here connect the golf courses and Geyser Creek to the parking areas near the bath houses.

While I don't golf I have passed this beautiful course many times and it looks to be a popular place for golfers. Located right inside the Saratoga Spa State Park. There is also another course just across the Ave Of The Pines.

If you have your own Kayak this would be a better place to launch into Saratoga Lake. There is more parking. This is right at the end of Fish Creek as it empties into Saratoga Lake. Ive been told it is good for fishing too. Plus there is place to rent motor boats on the other side of the road.
