Beaches
Our closest local beach is between Leighton Beach and Port Beach and is less than a 10 minute walk. Cross over the railway line at the Nth Freo train station, turn right, cross at the lights to walk between the units to the beach. This is a patrolled and safe beach for swimming, surfing, wind surfing, and long walks either on the sand or along the walking track.

Leighton Beach
Our closest local beach is between Leighton Beach and Port Beach and is less than a 10 minute walk. Cross over the railway line at the Nth Freo train station, turn right, cross at the lights to walk between the units to the beach. This is a patrolled and safe beach for swimming, surfing, wind surfing, and long walks either on the sand or along the walking track.
Sit on the grass under the trees with fish and chips or swim in the beautiful surf and relax on the sand. There is a shark barrier in place for safe swimming.
Cottesloe beach has cafes, bars, restaurants and shops and is a great vibe all year round. Sculpture by the Sea is on 6-23 March 2020 and showcases local, national and international artists.

River
Harvey Beach is a lovely spot along the river to swim. It is located at the end of Harvest Rd beside the water police station. So when the sea breeze is in , head to the river as an alternative to cool off. Dolphins are often seen from the little jetty.
