A typical old Aussie pub where you will find many a colourful character if you are up for a yarn with a local. Dedicated pool table room. Good Bistro food with plentiful helpings, and a Sunday session with some good music out the back.

One of the most famous shopping and eating streets on the Sunshine Coast....if not Australia. I lived in Hastings Street until I was 15 years old. Some of the shops are on the expensive side....but not all. There are still bargains to be found...and great food to eat.

Bargains galore. Only on a Saturday from 6am till noon. Heaps of plants, collectables and quirky old stuff to just look at or pick up for a song. I absolutely recommend Yandina markets! It's awesome.

I love this one for an early morning walk. It is literally across the road from our place. The geebung circuit only takes around 45 minutes ....and it's lovely!

One of my most favourite places in the entire world. Park your car at the headquarters, put on your runners and hat and away you go. Oooh and aaaah around every bend. It's really beautiful. OH....and DON'T forget to take water. No taps along the way. A walk around the coastal track takes me about 1.5 hours. (5.4kms return) Do yourself a favour.....go all the way to the lookout at Hells Gates. (and no....I don't know why they call it that...it's more like Heaven's door to me :-) We have a picnic basket sitting on the deck....go ahead use it. Bet it's been a while since you've been on a proper picnic ?? :-)

But better value to do fruit and veg shopping at the markets on Wednesday and Saturday. Eumundi also has a bakery and pharmacy....but if it's just a bandaid or something basic you need...I'll probably have it at the house. Just call or message me :-)

Cooroy is a cute country town about 10 minutes drive from us. it's worth a look. If you'd prefer to shop in Noosa there are any amount of supermarkets there. Woolies, Aldi, Coles, IGA etc etc

This little shopping centre has a big woolies, chemist, newsagent, butcher, baker but no candlestick maker. It's my local.

Just because it's one of the best beaches in Australia.
People say it's Australia's best. I haven't been to many zoos so can't really comment. It's a good day out for sure.
