Favorite Hikes near the Teanaway

These are a few of the hikes I enjoy close to the Teanaway.
Ingalls Lake is a stunning blue lake, set high in a basin beneath rocky peaks, showcasing striking Mount Stuart as its backdrop. The trail to this treasure is filled with delights, both for the summer adventurer as well as for those hikers who appreciate fall colors. Views of the craggy Esmeralda Peaks, a walk through beautiful Headlight Basin plus a pretty picture of the imposing Stuart Range are just a few of the wonders along the way. 2500 ft elevation gain; 9 miles round trip https://www.wta.org/go-hiking/hikes/lake-ingalls

The Iron Bear-Teanaway Ridge hike offers wonderful views. It's a steady uphill climb for about 3 miles, but the views of the Stewart Range and Mt. Rainier along the way and at the top are spectacular. Wild flowers are abundant in the spring. https://www.wta.org/go-hiking/hikes/iron-bear

This hike has wonderful views both out to Eastern Washington and West into the Stewart Range and peaks of Mt. Rainier. The drive to the trailhead has views as spectacular as the hike itself. But you need a high clearance four wheel drive vehicle. In the fall the mountainside on the drive to the trailhead, is glowing with golden Larches. https://www.wta.org/go-hiking/hikes/tronsen-ridge
