The small menu is Mexican food which is good selection, we selected the Nachos, Burrito, and Quesadillas, the taste was great and so was the presentation.

Are you a lover of fresh seafood? Then Poo Dam is the place to go.
This restaurant, named after the black mud crab, is famous for it. Fish, crab and shellfish are displayed on a large table filled with ice.
There you can choose what you like and how you want it to be prepared. Of course, there is also a menu to choose from. We ordered grouper steamed with sour plum, cabbage fried in fish sauce, fried rice with seafood, black crab with black pepper and blue crab with curry powder.
Although both crabs have a delicious taste, the black crab has a bit more meat. So, you don’t have to work that hard to fill up your stomach. We all enjoyed all our dishes and the friendly staff. They are more than happy to explain you everything you want to know and are even proud to show you what seafood they got.

Dinner at the hilltop - free return shuttle bus from most hotels. Would recommend booking a few days in advance as it’s very busy! The view was amazing, and the staff encourage you to walk around and take pictures which is nice. For starters we had pork belly and duck. Both were nice and well cooked. For mains we had red curry (Penang) and the stir-fried NZ beef with pineapple chicken rice.
All the food was good! The presentation of everything was great.
A bit more expensive than other touristy restaurants in the area food is ok but view is worth it.

The beautiful location of this restaurant is serene and tranquil with nice outdoor indoor dining around beautiful gardens. A nice display of fresh seafood is located as you enters the restaurant. The staff are very friendly and speak a few different languages. The menu is also in Thai, Chinese & English.
Our selection tonight was Wing Bean salad, which was delicious, if you do not like egg ask for it served separate or without. Mackerel with spring onion and ginger, Rad Na Chicken, Southern curry with fish, Crispy rad na, Thai Steamed Seafood in Young Coconut -(Hor Mok Talay Ma-Praow).
We also tried the Sala fruit and Sugar palm or Toddy palm fruit (also called by the name Palmyra palm) which were served in a sweet syrup, my favorite was the Sala fruit
All the food was nicely presented and tasted great.

A trendy new Organic café opened in the Sugar Marina complex in Ao Nang 15 months ago. The restaurant has received the certificate from the government to trade as an organic cafe .
The owner has created a small but very tasty organic menu with a special dish weekly. The drinks are made fresh daily with pure organic & natural ingredients.
This visit we selected: Scrambled eggs with bacon and toast with mushrooms as an extra. The mushrooms were deliciously cooked with a hint of coconut they were soft and creamy. The scrambled eggs were light and fluffy and the bacon cooked to perfection. A Gourmet Sandwich was also selected which was Tuscan style pork with caramelized onions with a salad all wrapped up beautifully in a pita bread. The taste was awesome. If its a freshly made salad that is desired the Greek salad & the Salmon, Mango,Pomegranate and quinoa salad are just 2 of the best salads the owner makes. Divine.
All the food was beautifully presented and very tasty. The food is sourced from local organic business and from other provinces in Thailand that specialise in certain items, as well as imported products from overseas.

There are a few hotels along the beach: The Dusit Thani and Beyond Resort are a couple. Just around the corner at the Beyond Resort end, there are a few small beach restaurants where you can sit and enjoy some food and drinks right on the beach.
Its a great place to spend the day or just go for a walk, lots of seashells to pick up and in a few sections there are millions of tiny crabs that create amazing patterns.
