This buzzing vegan eatery is vegan, terrific and very cheap! The teriyaki beef is wonderful and so is the Japchae noodles. Fair warning, the nori rolls are made with cauliflower rather than rice and tend to explode everywhere when you bit into them.

A restaurant chain that seems to be the only Hong Kong restaurant in town. Always packed, meals start with a delicious complimentary soup. It's hard to move beyond a platter of mixed roast but the soft shell crab here is truly wonderful.

This is seriously wonderful food with incredible ingredients, technique and attention to detail. Ballarat is full of wonderful food but we would travel the 1.5 hours it takes to get there in a car just to eat here.
