This local business uses all local ingredients, and is a great spot for a light breakfast or lunch. I recommend the espresso sunrise for a refreshing drink, and the work day sandwich for a bite. Seating is a bit tight, but definitely worth waiting for a spot. There's some great outdoor seating during nice weather.

Fine local joint to grab a hearty bite to eat. The prices are great and the portions are huge. You can get a full omelet and sides for around $7.

A bit of a drive from my house, but well worth the hike. This Indian restaurant is quaint, and has some of the best naan in the city. Heat levels go from 1-5, but I don't recommend going higher than a 2 unless you're really into spice.

Experience Saint Louis-style thin crust pizza only 5 doors down from my house. They frequently run specials online, and you can get sandwiches, salads, and appetizers too. Plus, their pizza tastes great as a cold leftover, if that's your thing.
