We have guests consistently comment that they thought the Old Dubbo Gaol was going to be just another boring tourist attraction and they are shocked at how much they enjoy their experience and the rich history they learn about. Parks & Nature
The Macquarie River snakes and flows through town. There are walking and bike tracks that follow the river for miles. Enormous beautiful red river gums (that you only find when you adventure west) line the river banks, its perfectly quiet and peaceful.
The tracks go into town, out to the zoo and our favourite cafe at Dundullum House.
