Sightseeing
Gorgeous drive or walk! Flagged on one side by the beautiful Tampa Bay and the other by million dollar historic homes. Also a great spot to exercise outside, the extra wide path is home to many runners, bikers, roller blades and dog walkers. It also has nice permanent workout stations sprinkled along the winding path. Parking, we typically park on a side street and cross Bayshore Drive to get to the walking path. As long as you do not park in a no-parking sign zone, you will be good.

This park is a beautiful start to the Tampa Riverwalk Trail along the Hillsborough River. It has a quaint park set for children and a large open field for family games. They also have a springing fountain children love to put on swim suits and run through. Greta for a hot day refresher. It is right next to Downtown Tampa, you can park in the parking garage on Ashley St. or in the metered spots around downtown and walk there.

Our #1 beach recommendation. We love this beach because it's not too far of a drive (traffic is better than getting all the way to a super packed and touristy Clearwater beach). It's a beautiful beach and great especially for taking families with children.

Salvador Dali museum is beautiful and inspiring. It is a decent drive (30min or so) from our home but great, especially if you want to spend the day in St. Pete. We love eating at a small restaurant called Bodega but they have a bunch or awesome restaurants and coffee shops in St. Pete. Good for a rainy or very hot summer day.
