Dockside is a full restaurant with an excellent salad bar, but we usually go just for the Gooeys! They have a huge assortment of desserts, and Gooeys are giant goblets of ice cream. Arrive hungry! Plus, they have a view of the lake.

This is a small sandwich shop in a gas station, but it's seriously the best! They have tons of different options. Obviously not healthy, but you should go there anyway! Just a heads up that the sandwiches take like 15 minutes, so don't go if you're in a hurry.

This place is actually a cute bed and breakfast in a historic building, but in the main floor they have a restaurant and martini bar. The meals are overpriced (in my opinion) but the martinis are to die for and they have delicious tapas as well. It's a fun hidden gem. They have a cute patio as well, and sometimes have live music.

It's a very easy walking trail (not wheelchair friendly). Stunning views of the lake and you can wander off the main trail to dip your feet in the lake. Dog friendly (on leashes) and free.

This park was recently redone. They have a huge playground with splash pad, dog park, basketball courts, tennis courts, a pavilion, and views of the lake. Just a couple of blocks from our house!
