A great go-to restaurants in Ensenada that serves until Midnight on Friday and Sunday, and 11pm on Wednesday and Thursday. It’s hidden away by the Naval yard, the first immediate right when you enter Ensenada. The food, wine and dessert are excellent and the prices are reasonable.

A roadside stall selling amazing Sinaloa-style grilled chickens, about 8 USD to go, cash only. On the ocean-side of the Libre in Primo Tapia, directly across from the large chain restaurant Pollo Asil. I tend to stop here on my way down to grab a meal to bring to the beach house.

A world famous street cart serving fish tostadas and cocktails; the cart was featured on Anthony Bourdain's tv series. They also have a sister formal restaurant, Sabina, but oddly the street cart is better, in my opinion.

Located in Rosarito, north of the Rosarito Beach Hotel on the Libre highway (which is named “Benito Juárez” while in Rosarito). Driving north on Benito Juárez, take the first right after the HSBC bank onto Cliofas Ruiz, then take the next left onto Mar del Nte. In 700 meters, make another left onto Rene Ortiz Campoy.
