Only a 20 minute ferry trip away from Gourock and a really quaint wee town with fab views and lovely promenade walks. Some really nice cafes and bars and great newly opened Queens Hall. Nice play parks and nice swimming pool too.

Historic village with lovely Victorian villas where Quarriers children’s homes were based. Fab Three sisters bake cafe is on the village and lovely play park and walks along the cycle path are nearby too. You can walk or cycle to Kilmacolm in about 3 miles.

Lovely long promenade in Greenock. Great views and fab place to spot the docked cruise ships. Checkout the nearby Esplanade ice cream shop. Doesn’t look anything special but the ice cream is amazing! Especially Scottish tablet flavour.

Fab local regional park. Large with 2 visitor centres and great walks. Nature trail for children too. You need a car or be up for a long cycle! Stunning views of Inverclyde and over to Argyll and Bute. Visit the Greenock Cut - a historic site where water used to power Greenock. Now a nice walk with great views and cafe near to Loch Tom.

Fabulous outdoor heated pool! One of only 3 in Scotland. Wonderful views and great terrace for sun bathing on a hot day. Gets busy on warm days but definitely worth a visit. Salt water heated to 29 degrees.
