If you are looking for a higher end place to eat it doesn't get much better than Oakside! We have 5 kids so we don't go here too often as it isn't as kid friendly as 572 Social but we make it work from time to time just to enjoy their great food.

Best Pizza in all of Big Bear. If you are a sports fan they have TV's around the entire place you can watch just about any game you want. They have an outdoor patio with heaters that is just incredible if it is snowing.

Phenomenal food and drinks! If you have a large family or group ask to be seated on the top floor as it is roomy and less crowded. This is one of our favorite places to go but it can get very crowded.

We hardly ever go here as we are usually always with our kiddos but if you are looking for the bar scene this is the place to go. The bar is big and has pool tables, foosball, big screen TV's and often live music.

This is what I would call a "hole in the wall" bar but surprisingly they have pretty good food along with your typical bar scene.

This place is the best. I highly recommend checking out who is playing prior to your stay and try to go to this venue. It is pretty nice inside with great sound quality. We saw Berlin live and it was incredible!

Great hangout for families. When the lake is low you can walk out to what is usually the island and explore around. Our kids found some very old stuff that had been on the bottom of the lake.

We prefer Summit over Bear as it seems more family friendly. Even if you are NOT taking to the slopes there is still a ton of stuff you can enjoy while the others ski or board. At the lodge you will find a large fire pit hang out where the kids can play around. I highly recommend Summit, even in the summer where you can still find a good amount of stuff to do.

By far the best bike rental spot in all of Big Bear and of course snow gear rentals during the winter months! You can rent electric bikes and follow the map they provide for a very scenic trip by the lake. The electric bikes are nice as you don't have to worry about going too far and getting tired. Good for all ages!
