Low key burger restaurant with the best burgers in the world, in my opinion. They serve charcoal grilled homemade gourmet burgers. They also serve beers and booze. Closing at 01:00 friday and sundays.

Parks & Nature
This is my favorite beach in Oslo. Very charming and cozy place not far from Nordstrand, accessible via public transport (the name of the bus stop is Hvervenbukta) and otherwise plenty of parking. Well equipped with nice toilets and nice lifeguard. They also have a small cafe at the beach. Sometimes the food truck "Anne på landet" is there also. She serves homemade organic norwegian food.

This is one of the best parks in Oslo, and luckily it is just 2 minutes walk from the apartment. I would recommend to bring some lunch and have a picnic here. If you ask nicely I can let you borrow my ticket to the moon hammock also :-)

Close to the city center, and it is also accesible by tram. From Ekebergparken you can get a close look over the whole city. Ekebergparken also has an outside exhibition which I recommend to see.

This is a beach at an island near the city center. It is Accesible by ferry from Aker Brygge. The ferry goes every 20 minutes. It is no stores there, so you have to bring your own food.
Hovedøya is a good alternative to Sørenga and Tjuvholmen that is too crowded. I would also recommend Langøyene, which is a 10 minutes longer boat trip.

Best vintage shop in town! Here you can find eclectic pieces of good quality. The owner Anette is really nice and has a good taste. Everything in the shop is handpicked by her. The prices aren't too bad either.
Take the 37 bus from Jernbanetoget to Munkegata to get there.
