For swing lovers, Le QuecumBar is the must-go hidden gem of Battersea. Right at the end of Battersea High Street, with a charming, small back garden, the Bar & Brasserie provides an intimate atmosphere in its original Parisian style of the 1930s. Located a stone’s throw from Battersea Park and offering a good selection of craft beers, reasonably priced wines, and an array of board games, this delightful gastropub is a firm favorite with Battersea locals. Wednesday nights are always crammed full of various local sports teams.

Battersea may be slowly building a rep for being ‘South Chelsea’ but it won’t lose its working class roots that easily. The Victoria embraces the best of both worlds. Its unassuming appearance should not be disregarded, the food is amazing, and insanely good value for money, the service is friendly and the drinks very reasonable. It is a hit with locals both old and new, and once you try the halloumi burger, you won’t look back.

This charming gastropub with great food and an impressive wine and beer selection is arguably one of the finest Geronimo Inn branches. Overlooking Battersea Park, this chic spot is popular with locals, the MIC crowd, and even royalty (both princes have been spotted there). Go on a Sunday and check out the yummy mummies and pugs in handbags. (Book in advance as it’s always super busy.)

Food Scene

Flour to the people is the new kid on the block when it comes to Battersea brunches. They serve all your brunch classics (and do them really well) but not only do they make their own sourdough bread, their eggs benedict are served on sourdough muffins which are, frankly, incredible. Their signature dish ‘Toast the People’ allows you unlimited toast with spreads and jams for a very reasonable set price. The best bit? The toasters are on the tables so you can make sure is the perfect colour for you.

If you like your brunch simple and cheap then Jack’s is for you. The fry-ups are excellent and served in singles, doubles or triples, meaning that you can have one, two or three of everything on your plate. It’s not fancy and it doesn’t come with bottomless prosecco, but it is good and it’s cheap. Don’t worry though, they serve more than just a fry up, so if you’re looking for pancakes or French toast, Jack’s has got you covered.

The capital's first helicopter sightseeing tour that doesn't involve schlepping out of London – because you can choose to board, much more conveniently, at Battersea Heliport. The 20-minute trip mostly follows the route of the Thames, between the Isle of Dogs in the east and Barnes in the west, taking in landmarks including Buckingham Palace and The Shard along the way. It doesn't come cheap but it has to be the most exciting way to get to grips with the layout of the city.
