Coming from Austin, I am hard to please when it comes to Mexican food, but Las Casuelas delivers. I would have to say that this is more of a Tex-Mex restaurant, in terms of their combination plates, but they have a large menu with a lot of other options as well. The margaritas are on point, and they have live music most nights of the week. They are located on Palm Canyon Drive, in the heart of downtown.

This strip-mall-located Italian restaurant really delivers! The caprese salad, fettucine alredo, chicken parmesan, and pizza are all absolutely delicious. I have yet to try more than that, but intend to go back often as I really enjoyed what they served so far. The service has also been impeccable on the nights we have visited.

They have great pizza, ideal outdoor seating above the action on Palm Canyon Drive, and a nice selection of beverages. I would recommend this to both families and couples looking for a dining experience.

The food is excellent, the servers are very friendly, the cocktails are delicious, and the setting is worth the price of admission by itself. This is part of the Avalon hotel, and they offer valet parking. Street parking is ample if you choose not to valet.

This is a great place for food, drinks, and live music on the weekends. The peel and eat shrimp is served in buckets, they have delicious lobster bisque, and the fish tacos are the best in the area.

A must for lunch. The menu is like a book, and everything they make at this kosher-friendly location is the best I have ever tasted. I highly recommend lunch here. Ask for Jim!
