Beautiful view of the Columbia River. Hotel guest receive a free breakfast here, and is very nice. Large and delicious menu to choose from: excellent fresh salmon specials, rib eye steak, and pastas. This is one place that is open even during most holidays.

Great pub style food; burgers, sandwiches, fries, house-made soups. The food is simple and inexpensive, and the atmosphere is really laid back. More of a lunch place for us, evenings are more geared toward locals and entertainment. Small selection of tap beers, bottled beers, and cocktails. They typically have live music on the weekends and sometimes during the week.

Parts of "The Shinning" were filmed at the lodge.
Lodge is nearly 6000' above sea level on the south side of Mt. Hood. Makes for a great and up close view of the mountain.
