Hands down the best home baked bread I have ever had. I would recommend this spot for lunch and enjoy their sandwich and soup combo. My personal favorite is the basil and garlic bread turkey pesto sandwich. A must try local restaurant in Big Bear.

Great local restaurant that serves great food. I love their omelettes but they also have a lot of other home cooked options. Take cash cause they don't accept anything else.

Very intimate location for great food. This place is wonderful for a romantic dinner and wine. It is almost always booked so make sure to call ahead to make a reservation. It is one of my favorite restaurants in town.

Super hip restaurant with great atmosphere and amazing food. If you aren't sure where to go with your group just go here and everyone will be happy. Full bar as well as outdoor seating by the fires makes for a fun and cool dinner party.

IF you want to have a great time out on the town in Big Bear you have to check out this place! They have great burgers that are massive as well as the largest cheese sticks I have ever seen. My friend and I call them "friend sticks" cause every time we order them we meet a new friend who comes over and ask what they are. lol.
They have good priced drinks and a fun karaoke environment in a small dive bar location. I make it a point to go each time I am in the area.

Great medium level hike up to Castle Rock with amazing views of the entire lake from on top of the massive rock. If you are into rock climbing there is a back side of the rock with about 100' of rock face you can climb.
I would highly recommend this location for a fun and beautiful hike.

I would highly recommend this location for a fun and beautiful hike.
Moderately challenging hike up to Grays Peak but rewards of the view are worth it. Take lots of water since it is about 7 miles round trip. Take about 3.5 hours to complete.
